The Immigrant Rights Project is a policy and advocacy arm of the Asian Pacific American Legal Center, dedicated to the advancement of the social, cultural, and economic rights of immigrants, through community-driven collaboration, education, and legislative and media advocacy.
The mission of the Immigrant Rights Project is to promote and protect Asian and Pacific Islander and immigrant equality through policy advocacy, education, outreach and partnerships that change public opinions and remove barriers to status and language.
Advocates work as a team to pursue this mission with focus in four key areas:
Immigration Reform
Immigrant Integration
Strengthening the Safety Net
