Immigration Reform

Wednesday, 01. 28. 2009

Our nation’s immigration system is defunct. Each day families are separated and lives torn a part due to a piecemeal system of policies. Rather than overhauling the system to create one that is smart, fair, humane and efficient, legislators have pieced together immigration policy without rhyme or reason for many years.

The Immigrant Rights Project advocates for the passage of a fair and humane immigration reform that keeps families together and protects the rights and liberties of all people. To achieve this, Asian American and Pacific Islander communities must raise their voices to add to call on legislators to take swift action.
